All in all it was good value, considering prices in Arugam Bay. I appreciated the place, everything was good. Its location at a walking distance from Sangaman Kanda Lighthouse was great and incredible. I had a warm welcome, great staff.

The value for money at Surf Beach Hotel was great, especially considering the comfortable and well-maintained rooms. The location was perfect, close to the beach and all the shops and restaurants. The staff, especially Deen and his family, were friendly and always ready to help.
Breakfast selection could be improved, but that didn't overshadow the overall positive experience at the hotel.

We loved the spacious rooms with comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms. the location was perfect, just a minute away from the beach, shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. the whole resort was clean and well-maintained. the hosts, Nifras and his family, were incredibly kind and helpful. Nifras even offered surf lessons, which turned out to be the best we've ever had. Don't hesitate to try surfing with him and his friend Muzam. Great value for money!
Felt warm, no complaints whatsoever.

I was absolutely blown away by my stay at this beachside gem! The value for money was jaw-dropping. The comfortable beds and fluffy pillows made for the best sleep I've had in ages. The location was perfect - away from the noisy bars and traffic, allowing for a peaceful night's rest. The abundance of great restaurants and shops in the area was mind-blowing. The staff and owner were super friendly and offered us tea throughout the day. The hammocks in front of each cottage were a delightful surprise and perfect for relaxation. The surf lessons with the owner were fantastic and helped me catch some awesome waves. To top it all off, the beach barbecue organised by the owner and his family was a delicious treat. I highly recommend this place for an amazing stay.

The value for money at Surf Beach was excellent, with spacious and clean rooms that had all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, being close to both the beach and the main street, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
The only improvement I would suggest for the breakfast choices is to make them more efficient and timely.

Simple, clean rooms with comfortable beds and mosquito nets
Great location just 50m away from the beach. Good walking distance access to the city and shops. - the staff running the place are the nicest, funniest, and kindest people we met on our journey. - Surfing lessons provided by the staff were one of the best experiences in Sri Lanka
Felt privileged, no reason to complain
